Farahantsana hydroelectric plant starts up!

_ Our teams built this hydroelectric dam 30km north of Antananarivo, on the Ikopa river, in a joint venture with SCB (Société de Constructions et de Bâtiments). The project included a run-of-river dam, water intake, desilting chamber, headrace canal, surge chamber, four penstocks and a four-turbine power plant.
The 28 MW that this plant generates account for approximately 6% of the power available in Madagascar.
