Safety
The process to reach zero accidents
Safety is everyone’s job. We factor it into every stage of a project, starting at the drawing board, all the way to handover and then on to operation. It involves evaluating risks, devising measures to address those risks and applying them consistently. It is based on rules and principles that we apply day after day. It is grounded in individual responsibility: we all have a role to play in staying safe and keeping others safe. We provide training on the ground, hold safety inspections at worksites and production plants, and use precise indicators to track their impact. The goal is a steady decline in the number of workplace incidents and we firmly believe that the zero-accident objective is within reach.

Protecting health and fostering well-being
Health is another overarching priority at VINCI Construction: all business units strive to protect employees from job fatigue, protect suppliers and people living near worksites, and ensure users can enjoy our products and solutions safely throughout their life cycle. We promote well-being by keeping an eye on employees’ working conditions as much as their mental health.
Preventing risks
Safety Day(s): the highlight for VINCI Construction’s safety culture
Our Safety Day(s), which take place throughout VINCI Construction, are an essential channel to share and spread our safety culture and the three pillars underlying it – transparency, exemplarity and dialogue. These days take place every year. They bring together all our employees as well as our partners and subcontractors, at all our worksites, with workshops, conferences and experiences revolving around a specific topic.
